Preparations for Bawming Day are coming to a climax over the next 12 days.
Introduced for the first time last year, villagers are invited to participate by ‘bawming’ or decorating their own gardens.
Judge Nora Carlin said, “We had some stunning entries last year.”
There are three ways to register your garden for this year’s competition:
- email bawming@appletonthorn.org.uk with your address, putting BAWMINGGARDEN as your subject
- message through the AppletonThorn Facebook account
- text BAWMINGGARDEN plus your address to 07974179488
Judging will take place on Wednesday 15th June 5 – 7 pm. Look out for the judges riding on a tandem bike!
