Following a report by a local resident, Judith Wheeler, Warrington Councillor for Appleton Ward, took up the state of the path on the south side of Grappenhall Lane, to the east of the village centre.
Although only constructed a couple of years ago, brambles and other vegetation had been allowed to grow across the path, making it difficult if not impossible to pass without stepping out onto the busy roadway.
Within a week, the overgrown plants were cut back and the pavement freed for use use this link.
Nice one Judith !
