Councillor Judith Wheeler, Warrington Borough Councillor for Appleton, Hatton, Stretton and Walton, has discovered that the deadlines for submission of comments on the HCA’s planning applications is not 7th April as previously understood. There are in fact two separate deadlines:
- Appleton Cross – 2017/29930 – Monday* 10th April
- Grappenhall Heys – 2017/29929 – Tuesday* 11th April
NB: * day of week corrected.
Judith has suggested that it may be worth looking at the planning application for the proposed Bloor development in Appleton Thorn (2016/29511) to see what sort of objections were submitted.
Join the Working Group
A first meeting of those people interested in being part of a Working Group to look at various aspects of the planning applications is being held at 8:00pm on Thursday 6th April, at the Grappenhall Community Centre on Bellhouse Lane.
Judith wrote, “As Councillors we feel this should be resident-led with us providing support and advice. Even though the closing date for submissions gives a very short timescale, there will then be a couple of months in which to gather evidence for when the applications go before the Council’s Development Management Committee.”
