St Cross Church, Appleton Thorn – sometimes known as Holy Cross Church – celebrates its 130th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the church will be open on Saturday 10th September from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. There will be displays of the church’s history and refreshments on offer. On the afternoon of Sunday 11th September, the church celebrates with an open-air service (weather permitting) at 3:30PM, to which all are warmly invited – pets welcome!

Incidentally, for the outdoor service we are looking for a drummer. Do you have a kit and could drum for some contemporary worship songs? Let me know!
