Due to drop through most Appleton Thorn residents’ letter boxes over the next few days will be a useful ‘reminder’ card for the new Appleton Thorn Village Portal.

The card shows the site’s web address and highlights some of the free facilities available on the website – for villagers and those interested in the village of Appleton Thorn.

On the reverse is shown a note of the village’s Twitter account (@appletonthorn) and Facebook Fan Page (www.facebook.com/AppletonThorn).

Conveniently ‘business card’ sized; it can easily be carried in a wallet or purse or pinned up on the family noticeboard, fridge door, etc. for ready reference.

Remember that you don’t need anyone else to put an entry up on the Appleton Thorn Village Portal on your behalf – you can do it yourself by following the ‘Add new’ link or button under each facility.  This applies to the Village Diary, Clubs & Societies, Local Business Directory and the Classifieds.
