English Half Marathon – Village Road Closures


As in previous years, roads through Appleton Thorn will be closed on the morning of Sunday 21st September to provide a safe running environment for both participants and spectators.

English Half Marathon Road Closure Sign 2014The temporary prohibition order is in effect between the hours of 5am and 2pm on race day, Sunday 21st September. However, as the race does not start until 9am, early access will be available, albeit stewarded, and the roads will be opened as soon as possible after the last runner goes by. The probable actual closure times are therefore shown.
